What is the best flooring for Florida homes?
Florida floor covering options can resist moisture with vinyl plank and porcelain tile. Engineered hardwood is also suitable for air conditioned spaces. We do not recommend the use of solid hardwood in bathrooms, laundry rooms and similar unconditioned areas.
How long does a flooring install take?
Typically a single room will take about a day to complete. A whole house can take anywhere from 3 to 5 days, depending on the square footage. As for the tile work, this will take a bit longer due to the setting and curing time of the adhesive etc.
Do I need to move my furniture?
As part of our service, we move the furniture for you. Please remove any small items, breakables and electronics before we arrive but we will then move the larger, heavier items for you.
Do you pull permits for flooring work?
Typically flooring replacement does not require a permit in Tampa. Permit requirements for subfloor repairs can vary greatly and we would be happy to outline the requirements for your specific situation.
